MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission slogan:  "Blessed to be a Blessing" is well known in the congregation.

The full mission statement is practically unknown.  "Our congregation's purpose is to be a blessing to others as God has blessed us by being God's instruments in carrying out Christ's great commission."  (Matthew 28:18-20)

VISION

We see St. Paul's Lutheran Church as a congregation in which the individual members are equipped and motivated to serve in ministry and by example so that people who are struggling, suffering, and hurting will be surrounded with non-judgmental caring love - both members of the congregation and others to whom God directs us.  These will include  those with marital and family problems, those having financial problems, those with emotional disorders and those in prison.  We see our congregation making its ministries, services and worship opportunities known in a variety of ways so that we reach more people (youth, children, adults and seniors).  We see multiple Bible Studies for different ages and interests as well as support groups for those who are living at a distance from the congregation and those who have lost their connection.  We also see the opportunity for establishing satellite ministries in communities in which there is no Lutheran presence.
